Diploma in Practical Application of Labour Law course launched

The Diploma in Practical Application of Labour Law course was inaugurated on 28/05/2024 with an in-service training for new labour officers appointed on 07/05/2024. The inaugural event was attended by the Secretary to the Ministry of Labour and Foreign Employment, Mr. R.P.A. Wimalaweera, the Commissioner General of Labour, Mr. H.K.K.A. Jayasundara, the Director General of the National Institute of Labour Studies, Mr. Suranga Gunaratne and the Labour Commissioners.

The General Management & Labour Migration Certificate Course was inaugurated at Hotel Blue Sky – Kurunagala.

Based on the concept of the Minister of Labour and Foreign Employment, Hon. Manusha Nanayakkara, and under the guidance of the Secretary to the Ministry of Labour and Foreign Employment, R.P.A. Wimalaweera, and the General Manager of the Foreign Employment Bureau, D.D.P. Senanayake, and the Director General of the National Institute of Labour Studies, Suranga Gunaratne, the General Management & Labour Migration Certificate Course was initiated at Hotel Blue Sky – Kurunagala for the staff of foreign employment agencies.
